The Surveying Main Lesson is a unique one because it has a couple of more interesting aspects, such as taking the teaching out of the classroom in intellectually and emotionally unfamiliar settings, making the students aware that final result would depend on whether the whole group works as a team, in addition to synergising and integrating the two fundamental pedagogic processes mentioned above. These lessons are preceded by Main lessons in the classroom in trigonometry in the Class 10 curriculum and ‘Orientation Lessons’ during various years, in Waldorf schools.
